Pray for me and my family

As we head out tomorrow to be with my family and attend the memorial service for my grandmother who passed away unexpectedly on wednesday morning. I am heartbroken and really need God's help to get through this time. Thank you all!

This is a christian focused blog all about dieting and living healthy with the help of God. This is an extension of the healthy living group for the women of my church called JOY - which stands for Joyously Offering Yourself. We are offering ourselves and our bodies as living sacrifices to be presentable to the Lord (Romans 12:1). Our bodies are presentable when we take care of them and keep them healthy. We become living sacrifices when we stop caving into the desires of the flesh. We should be spirit minded - not flesh minded (Romans 8).
